Shah Rukh Khan, who had a packed schedule in 2023 with three releases – Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, recently revealed details about his upcoming work schedule during an interview with Star Sports. The superstar said that he is yet to start shooting for his next project this year.
During the interview, Shah Rukh shared the reason why he took a break from shooting despite being busy throughout 2023.He mentioned that the physically demanding roles he played in his recent films required a lot from him, which prompted him to prioritise rest and focus on other ventures, including his IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
“I just felt ki main thoda rest kar sakta hoon. Teen filmein kar chuka hoon, it took a lot of physical work also. So I said maybe I’ll take some time off. I told the whole team ki, main matches ko aaunga,” Shah Rukh Khan said.
However, fans can expect to see him back on the sets soon, as he revealed his shooting plans for this year. “Fortunately, meri shooting ab August main hain, ya July… we plan in June, to June se shuru hojayegi,” he shared.

SRK also expressed his excitement about being able to attend all the KKR matches during this break, stating, “Main khushi se aata hoon,” showcasing his enthusiasm for supporting his team.
A few days ago, Shah Rukh took some time off his schedule and attended KKR’s training session ahead of their match against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. SRK also brought his son AbRam to the stadium and made him see how boys train for the match. He added some more fun to the practice session by unleashing his inner cricketer side.

In a few viral videos, AbRam was seen bowling to Rinku Singh, a pivotal player for KKR. Seeing AbRam bowling to Rinku left many fans nostalgic as they could not believe how big AbRam has become.
