The incident in question involves allegations that Bibhav Kumar, an aide to CM Kejriwal, assaulted Swati Maliwal, the former chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, at the chief minister’s residence. Initially, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) remained silent on the matter. However, they later acknowledged the incident, with Sanjay Singh, a Rajya Sabha MP, stating that the chief minister had taken appropriate notice of the situation and that stringent action would be taken.
Meanwhile, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who was addressing a joint press conference with Akhilesh, refrained from commenting on the issue and instead passed the microphone to Sanjay Singh to respond to the media’s inquiries.
