Uttarakhand Police enters AIIMS ward in Mahindra Bolero to arrest accused: Movie-like video goes viral

In a recent incident, reminiscent of a Bollywood action movie, Uttarakhand Police personnel entered a ward in AIIMS hospital in Rishikesh to arrest an accused. The video was captured by someone from the ward and it has since gone viral on social media. While it might spark a debate about police action procedures and hospital protocols, it has indeed shown that the police won’t go easy on suspected criminals, even if it means going to unusual places, making some of the most unique arrests like this one.
In the video, a Mahindra Bolero PCR can be seen entering a busy ward while it is being guided by a policeman.Patients can be seen lying on stretchers and even the private security guards from the hospital are seen making way for the police car by removing some of the blocking stretchers.

The police drove their vehicle directly into the hospital ward, navigating through rows of patients lying on stretchers in order to arrest a male nurse accused of sexually harassing a female doctor at AIIMS Rishikesh.

While more details about the incident are expected to unfold soon, it is being reported that the hospital staff had been protesting against the accused’s actions in front of the dean’s office and also contacted the police for the same. Further investigations are expected to reveal more details about the case and the police department’s justification for their actions.
